Do you know what toys are safe for your child?
As toy manufacturers, we follow guidelines and and label toys for
certain age groups, but the most important way to ensure your child's
safety is to monitor your child during play. The toy industy voluntary

1970's, which have been updated since, to conform to the types of
toys being manufactured. Toy companies often turn to childhood development
experts to decide which toys are appropriate for each age group.

Toy Safety
The hollidays are here again, and while you
are out doing your Christmas shopping, there are some important
safety issues you should consider before buying toys. Perhaps the
most important toy safety guideline to follow is to know the age,
interest, and skill level of the child you are buying the toy for.
Read labels and follow manufacturer's age recommendations and instructions
for use. A sturdier toy which may be more expensive is a better
buy than a less expensive flimsy version. Toys which shoot projectiles
can become weapons and cause permanent eye damage.
